A little over a year ago I made this wardrobe for my oldest daughter's 18" dolls. I bought a wooden box from Hobby Lobby, using the coupon it ended up being about $12.
I glued a dowel rod across the top for the hangers. I used acrylic paint and polyurethane spray as a protective coating, as a finishing touch I added a wooden cutout that I found a walmart.
